Enshu Railway
Enshu Railway, also known as Entetsu, is a single-track linking Shizuoka
Prefecture's western industrial region, Hamamatsu City, to Tenryu
City. Running 17.8 km in length, the red trains are fondly referred
to as "Akaden" (literally meaning red trains in Japanese)
by locals.
Ticket discounts
A multiple ticket packet containing 11 tickets; 10 regular tickets
plus one free ticket.
Group tickets: for groups with 25 or more people a 10% discount
is offered.
ET Card (for use on Enshu trains and buses)
When a 1,000 yen card is purchased you get 1,100 yen worth of usage.
When a 2,000 yen card is purchased you get 2,200 yen worth of usage.
When a 3,000 yen card is purchased you get 3,300 yen worth of usage.
When a 5,000 yen card is purchased you get 5,500 yen worth of usage.
When a 8,000 yen card is purchased you get 9,000 yen worth of usage.
"Enshu Free Rail Pass" (a discounted limited use, one-day
rail and bus pass)
Children 750 yen
Adults 1,500 yen
Use is limited to one day. This ticket may also be used on Enshu
buses and trains within the area printed on the card. (Please double-check
the actual area of use.)
"Wide Free Rail Pass" (a discounted one-day rail and
bus pass)
Children 1,050 yen
Adults 2,100 yen
Use is limited to one day. This ticket may also be used on all Enshu
buses and trains.
